Torre Guaceto – A Protected Natural and Marine Reserve
Torre Guaceto is a stunning protected nature and marine reserve where salty seawater meets the fresh inland waters. This unique brackish ecosystem is home to diverse wildlife, including the majestic loggerhead sea turtle, which occasionally washes up on the shore. A dedicated rescue center closely monitors and cares for this endangered species.
Due to its rich flora and fauna, the area is divided into fully protected zones, which are off-limits, and accessible zones where visitors can walk, explore, and enjoy the beach. It’s an absolute must-visit for nature lovers and hikers!
Important: Parking is located outside the reserve, so be prepared to walk to the area. All parking facilities require a fee.

During the high season, a shuttle bus runs between the parking area and the nature reserve.
