Public Transport in Puglia – What You Need to Know

Public transport in Puglia is very different from what you’re used to in Belgium or the Netherlands.

Trains are reliable in southern Italy.
Buses, on the other hand, are not as dependable.

  • We strongly recommend renting a car during your stay.

  •  Taxis can be expensive in this region.

Taking the Train in Puglia

From larger cities like Bari and Lecce, traveling by train is easy and affordable.

Puglia’s railway network mainly follows the coastline.
– If you want to explore the inland areas, a car is essential.

Ostuni Train Station – Stazione Ferroviaria di Ostuni
